From 8 to 13 February, within the framework of the “Innoprom” exhibition in Riyadh, a meeting was held between representatives of authorities and business circles of the Moscow region, Samara, and Orenburg regions with the Saudi consortium.
The Russian delegation also visited the Royal Committee of Saudi Arabia in Jizan.
The event was attended by Irina Andreeva — CEO of LLC “ARKA,” founder of the brand LEO ET MADELEINE, and member of the Moscow regional branch of “Delovaya Rossiya.”
The event became an important stage in forming a new architecture of strategic partnership between Russian regions and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia under the Saudi Vision 2030 program.
The Russian delegation included representatives of regional authorities and businesses. The delegation of the Samara region was led by Deputy Chairman of the Government Pavel Fink; also participating were Acting Minister of Industry and Trade Denis Gurkov, Vice-Governor of the
Orenburg region Anton Efimov, and CEO of the SEZ “Orenburg” Sergey Nikiforov.
From the Saudi consortium, the negotiations involved Chairman of the Group of Companies Abdullah Al-Ajlan, head of subsidiary structures Dr. Ahmed Al-Kasir, and Executive and Commercial Director Osama Al-Ghait.
The discussions focused on the localization of Russian production in Saudi Arabia, the creation of joint ventures, and investment of Saudi capital in regional projects in Russia.
